The Manawaimai Forest
Our flagship Mānuka forest, a 1,400-hectare property in Aotearoa New Zealand, planted by Comvita over two years between 2019 and 2020. Every hectare has been purposefully cultivated to express the full potential of the Mānuka plant.
The forest is developed, and carefully maintained by Comvita, and is home to approximately 1.3M Mānuka trees, 1,500 hives, and about 100 million bees.
The forest represents a living testament to our ongoing commitment to quality, regeneration, and scientific precision. Beyond planting, the forest is actively nurtured through sustainable management, from pest control to soil health, ensuring the ecosystem flourishes year after year. It is, without doubt, both our greatest innovation and our greatest homage to nature.
